EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

When registering for an event, workshop, conference, forum or any other activity organised by the European Healthcare Distribution Association (GIRP), participants agree to the following terms and conditions:
We want to make sure that we are respectful of your data protection preferences, and that you understand your data privacy rights.
The event badge and the participants list will show details such as name, company or organisation provided on your registration form. If you would like to change or correct any of this information, please request the modifications at least two weeks prior to the event by email to email@example.com.
The list of participants will be made available on the GIRP smartphone application to all participants before the event and may also be included in the event documentation. Should you not wish to have your name featured in the participants list, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
With your participation, you accept that GIRP may freely use any photographs taken during the course of the conference/event on its website, social media or in other publications. If you do not want us to publish any photographs of you, and if you have any questions or require assistance, please contact us at email@example.com.
Please notify GIRP in writing if you do not wish for us to share your presentation with the participants by email and/or on the GIRP website after the event.
Upon receipt of your online form, your registration confirmation will be sent automatically by email to the email address provided in the registration form. Please note that this e-mail address can also be used for the distribution of any event material and information (programme update, event brochures, etc.).
If a person is registering on behalf of a delegate, it is the responsibility of that person to notify the delegate of the terms and conditions to which they will be agreeing on behalf of the delegate. His/her responsibility also includes providing full information on the delegate’s contact details and duration of his/her stay.
Delegates may notify the organisers of any food allergies or other dietary requirements on the registration form. If organisers have not received any written information from the delegates in advance, organisers cannot be liable for any harmful consequences.
3. CANCELATION OF THE EVENT
For reasons beyond GIRP’s control, the date, venue, timing and content of the programme (including speakers) may be altered without prior notice. GIRP regrets that they cannot accept liability for losses incurred by attendees under these circumstances.
GIRP reserves the right to cancel the event at any time without liability. In these circumstances, participants will be given the opportunity to attend the event on an alternate date, or a full refund.
GIRP reserves the right to modify the Event Terms & Conditions without notice.
GIRP shall not be liable or responsible to participant when a delay or cancelation of the event is caused by or results from the following force majeure events (“Force Majeure Events”): (a) acts of God; (b) pandemic, flood, fire, earthquake or explosion; (c) war, invasion, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), terrorist threats or acts, riot or other civil unrest; (d) government order or law; (e) actions, embargoes or blockades in effect on or after the date of registration; (f) action by any governmental authority; (g) national or regional emergency; [(h) strikes, labor stoppages or slowdowns or other industrial disturbances;] [and] [(i) shortage of adequate power or transportation facilities;] [and] [(j) other [similar] events beyond the [reasonable] control of the organiser impacted by the Force Majeure Event.
GIRP shall resume the performance of its obligations as soon as reasonably practicable after the removal of the cause.
4. TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION
Travel and accommodation are the delegates’ own responsibility. GIRP takes no responsibility for your travel and accommodation arrangements; therefore, please book as soon as possible.
The official language of all GIRP events is English.
6. FEES AND PAYMENTS
Payment to attend the event must be made prior to the beginning of the event, unless otherwise agreed with GIRP (in writing). Payment is to be made by International Bank Transfer or PayPal. If an international bank transfer is made within the week preceding the conference, proof of payment must be brought along and presented at the Registration Desk. If delegates arrive without any proof of payment, attendance will be denied.
7. CANCELLATION POLICY
No refund possible after confirmed registration.
Substitutions are welcome at no extra charge, as long as GIRP receives the replacement delegates' complete registration details one week prior to the event and all fees have been paid.
